Old Animatic- Masquerade

This is an old project. The music is from Otto Respighi's feste romane. It started like a short, became a tv series project (1 min per episode) and ended as a pilot compiling several episodes. Here is an animatic. Later I will post character design research, background arts and further informations about this project. The characters are inspired by the commedia dell'Arte.

I just find those doodles I 've made two years ago when we had to animate this little zombie girl. I think there were some good ideas.

This blog should be dedicated to my own sketches, however I will start with a link to some impressive work. Look at those life drawings and observational drawings! It is a so great inspiration but it makes me feel blue at the same time when I look at my work. Anyway you will soon be able to judge by yourself.
